空き店舗に残されていた傷跡を、蓄光塗料で一つ一つトレースし、その空間の残された痕跡を空間として顕在化させた作品。大学院の修了制作から始まり、あいちトリエンナーレ2010、松戸アートラインプロジェクト、神戸ビエンナーレ2011、AIR475と展覧会を重ねる度に、場所ごとに違った表情を見せる作品となった。
I applied luminous paint, which absorbs light, over the marks, scratches and nail holes on the walls, ceiling and the bare concrete floor. The room then comes to life when the lights are turned off. Everyone has a bad image of marks and sees them as blemishes, but each of them has its own story; people used to live or work in this space. I want people to notice the little things.
